This post is written for Bastet’s Pixelventures. Our task was to listen to music that inspires us, and then go on a picture-taking spree.
I didn’t quite do it like that … but … close enough!
For those of you who live overseas, you should know that the Eastern United States has been hit by one snowstorm after another – and abnormally cold temperatures – for the past couple of weeks. We had a snowstorm yesterday – and we are going to have another snow (and ice) storm tomorrow. ["Today", by the time you read this.] Plus, this weekend we are expecting yet another large snow storm.
I had to take advantage of today’s relatively good weather! It was too beautiful not to do so.
I was driving to the prosthetist’s office today – a hour-long trip through the Michaux State Forest – and listening to The Beatles. Twist and Shout and Eight Days a Week always make me feel happy and energized.

When I caught a glimpse of this trail (second photo) at Caledonia State Park I had to get out and take a few photos. A simple trip to the doctor’s office led to several micro-excursions – photos at Caledonia State Park and New Oxford.
