Linked to Carpe Diem Special #119: Tomas Tranströmer’s “a wild boar plays the organ”. Our task was to write a haiku that has the feel of a fairy tale. Here is Tranströmer’s haiku:
then the leaves whispered:
a wild boar plays the organ.
and the bells all rang

Feeling a bit tired and loopy after traveling all day over treacherous roads. Hopefully this makes sense. Pix are a bit blurry but I like the eerie feel. If you’ve been reading my haibun lately they’ve mentioned Route 30 / Lincoln Highway – finally seen in these photos.
